Shengda Textile Group: Broader Marketing Online
Zoucheng, Shandong--(China Textile News)--June 20, 2000--Shengda Textile Group has innovated its operating model using Internet to broaden its market. From January to May, the group completed a sales revenue of 56,000,000 RMB and 2,850,000 RMB, setting its highest record.
In order to solve the difficulty of sales, Shengda built a website and put information about its company, products, prices and services online. More importantly, the Group joined Texindex.com - China Textile & Apparel Online to target a global market. Its subsidiary Weida Company turned out 1,230,000 meters of denim fabric and the stocklot amounted 270,000 meters. After joining Texindex.com, Weida has successfully completed a sales volume of 970,000 meters of denim fabric in the last five months.
In addition, through online sourcing, the company procured raw cotton, chemical fiber and cotton yarn at prices that are 200 to 300 RMB lower on average, and thus saved over 300,000 RMB.
