| This week, spandex market welcomed a wave of surges and weekly rises touched by 15000yuan/mt (40D).Current traded price of 20D,30D and 40D was pegged at 92000-93000yuan/mt, 82000-83000yuan/mt and 72000-73000yuan/mt, respectively. 2000yuan/mt discounts were available in regular customers. Meanwhile, some weaving plants continued to store up inventory of spandex and tight supply problem was more serious, under cautious sentiment to sell. Besides, melt-spun spandex price largely hiked, spurred by cost and feedstock. 20D price generally was climbed up by 10000yuan/mt to 75000yuan/mt on Friday. |

| Outlook |
| As spandex plants' inventory held 1-week inventory and its supply was still tight, spandex price is expected to move up further. Meanwhile, orders situation during some weaving plants will slightly turn better and spandex demand may slightly warm up. As spandex price largely hiked, spandex feedstock suppliers may raise its price in Dec. |
| Downstream Market |
| This week, some weft knitting plants stopped production due to hiking feedstock price while their orders situations slightly improved due to PFY price declines. In Xiaoshan and Shaoxing, O/R of weft knitting plants was around 40% level, with lower at 30% in some exported plants and higher at 50% in Jiangsu and Guangdong. Besides, pushed up by feedstock, price of covered yarn price climbed up by 3000-5000yuan/mt this week and their O/R was relatively stable. In addition, O/R of warp knitting and lace market kept stable. |
