PTA
PTA market is quiet this morning. In import market, the offers are sporadic, while the bids are relatively low with some for Taiwan origin goods at $1220/mt, The deals may probably talked at $1220-1230/mt. In China domestic market, the offers are at 9950yuan/mt and the traders actively enquire. The talking prices are at 9850yuan/mt or higher. With the holiday approaching, most traders show little intention to conclude deals so the transactions volume reduces recently.
MEG
Offers are rare in domestic market. Some traders enquire at around 8600yuan/mt but most suppliers have little intention to sell goods. The talking prices may be at around 8630yuan/mt. Transaction atmosphere weakens somehow as New Year is coming, as well as invoices may not be taken in short time. Import market also keeps quiet with enquires from traders and a few offers for ship cargos at $1115/mt. But bids are much lower and traded prices may be at $1100/mt or higher. Transactions also present weak and most suppliers show little interest to sell goods.
